It is the largest bank of the Middle East and Africa based on these metrics. Having such a strong capitalist will be a driving strength for Turkey's and QNB Finansbank's growth in the future. Furthermore, it will reinforce the connections of QNB Finansbank with the international markets in order to set a higher standard.

What will be the strategy of QNB Finansbank?

Throughout this process, we aim to capitalize on the synergy of joining QNB Group at the maximum level. At QNB Finansbank, while we act responsibly to support not only economic growth but also sustainability, we continue to pursue strategies promoting manufacture as a priority as well.

QNB's presence paves the way for loan allocation with more competitive prices and borrowing with more competitive costs for our bank. QNB Finansbank has therefore acquired the infrastructure required to support Turkish economy further through our new principal shareholder.

We will continue to implement our profitable and sustainable growth policy, capitalizing on the strong capital structure, international experience and support of QNB as the leading bank in the Middle East and Africa.

What is QNB's main strategy for Finansbank?

This acquisition is in line with QNB's vision to become an icon of the Middle East and Africa in 2017. QNB's strategy is to focus on the markets with high growth capacity and anticipated competitive edge. Turkey is the exact kind of such a market for QNB based on its market size, population, growth performance, strong financial and banking industry data and strategic position between Europe, Asia and Africa. This new era starting with QNB marks a thrilling milestone for Finansbank. QNB is awarded with a long-term foreign currency issuer default rating of Aa3 from Moody's, AA- from Fitch and A+ from S&P. As QNB Finansbank stands out as a bank with a foreign partner boasting the highest credit rating among foreign capital banks operating in Turkey, our customers will be able to see and seize the opportunities provided by this union of forces while trading in the region in particular. Our customers will be affected positively from QNB Group's strength as the international bank operating in Turkey with top ratings.

What are QNB Finansbank's targets for the upcoming periods? Can you specify your targets in terms of assets, credits, deposits and branching?

On June 15, sales process of Finansbank and its affiliates, a pioneer of change in banking system, to Qatar National Bank (QNB) was completed. This investment helped us turn over a new leaf in our success story, leading us to our position as the 5th largest privately owned Turkish bank with over 630 branches and more than 12 thousand financiers, the main source of our power.

Despite facing several issues in connection with Greece, where our previous principal shareholder was located, a long time ago, Finansbank managed to increase its power in the industry. In this process, we managed to grow above industry averages, maintaining our innovative mindset. Through QNB's financial power, stability and extensive international network spanning more than 30 countries in three continents, we will be able to improve and extend our product and service portfolio.

At QNB Finansbank, while we act responsibly to support not only economic growth but also sustainability, we will continue to pursue strategies promoting manufacture as a priority as well. In an effort to support Turkey's export-oriented growth, rather than domestic demand, we are aiming to achieve a growth at a similar rate to the industry in personal loans yet at a rate above industry average in corporate loans as we did in 2012 and after.

In addition to growth in our targeted areas, we will continue to prioritize customer satisfaction in all channels we serve in this period where customer preferences are changing with higher use of digital banking along with a decline in branch banking.

Finansbank was renamed as QNB Finansbank. Will you stop using the trade name Finansbank entirely over the time?

Therefore, the union of forces between QNB and Finansbank with the former having regional expertise and brand value and latter as one of the most dynamic financial institutions of Turkey will allow us to offer a wide range of products and service to our customers and will not lead to any change in our daily relations.

Will customers experience any changes in deposit accounts, credits or banking products and services they are offered?

Our change of title as QNB Finansbank will not cause any changes in services offered to our customers.
